Lawsuit abuse means we all pay and we all lose. Florida’s courts are intended to be used for real victims seeking justice, not for some greedy individuals seeking riches. Unfortunately, too many people are playing a lottery with our legal system and abusing our courts with frivolous lawsuits.
The use of our courts as a “lawsuit lottery” comes with a cost for every Floridian. We pay for lawsuit abuse each and every day through increased costs of goods and services, doctors leaving the state and clogged courts.
Florida Stop Lawsuit Abuse is a grassroots group dedicated to challenging those who abuse our legal system and educating the public about the costs and consequences of lawsuit abuse. We’re working to return common sense and fairness to our state’s courts.
